Small-scale spinning machine
Electrically heated small-scale spinning machine used for proof-of-principle (PoP) experiments. Different types of screws are available in order to process different kinds of polymers. Extrusion temperatures up to 400 °C can be used. Round spinneret Ø60 mm. with 1 - 100 holes in various sizes. Throughput maximum 2,5 kg/hours. Winding speed usually up to 350 m/min, but the spinning machine can be adapted in order to run up to 2000 m/min.

Small-scale monofilament spinning machine
Electrical heated small-scale spinning machine used for the Standard Filtration Test and for the production of monofilament fibers. Extrusion temperatures up to 350 °C can be used. Throughput maximum 10 kg/hours. A water bath and a cutter are available in order to make chips.

Technical yarn spin-draw-winding (SDW) spinning machine
Dowtherm-heated spinning machine with a rectangular spinneret and a cross-flow quench. Extrusion temperatures up to 350 °C can be used. Throughput up to 50 kg/hour. Maximum winding speed up to 5000 m/min. Standard set-up draw field: godet/idler roller - steam jet - godet/idler roller - duo - godet/idler roller. The last godet can be heated (for low shrinkage yarns) or water-cooled (for high modulus yarns). It is also possible to use an additional godet for relaxation. Drawing temperatures up to 240 °C.

Tire yarn spin-draw-winding (HSSDW) spinning machine
Dowtherm-heated spinning machine with a rectangular spinneret and a cross-flow quench. Extrusion temperatures up to 350 °C can be used. Throughput up to 80 kg/hour. Maximum winding speed up to 8000 m/min. Draw field with four duos. Drawing temperatures up to 240 °C. This spinning machine can be reconstructed to a machine with the same specifications as the technical yarn spinning machine.
